has given us another "gift":

Fracking.

New federal laws allow gas companies to inject
millions of gallons of toxic fluids into the earth to ease the extraction of deeply buried natural gas.  
Watersheds have already been permanently destroyed
by this insanely reckless practice in several states...and yet it goes on.
But some people are fighting back.
Here's how one community prevailed.
